For security purposes, all new purchases with HostGator.com are screened for fraudulent orders. This is usually within 15 minutes, but if your account has been flagged by our fraud monitoring system, it can take up to 8 hours to manually screen your order.

Upon signing up, you will receive an email stating that HostGator.com has received your order and is processing it. If you still need to pay, you will receive an email which guides you to pay the balance (must be done prior to account activation). After your order has been paid for and confirmed, you shall receive your welcome email and will be ready to publish your website online with HostGator.com.

Please note that if you wish to pay by bank transfer, money order, cash or Western Union, it may take longer to activate your account while we wait to receive payment.
